The New Google AdWords Algorithm Update

Posted on October 12, 2021October 12, 2021 By Rajesh Rajavel No Comments on The New Google AdWords Algorithm Update

There has been a lot of discussion in the internet marketing community as to the impact that Google AdWords and Google AdSense advertisements might have on search engine optimization (SEO).

Many people have come out with different claims. Google AdWords however remains to be the most effective pay-per-click (PPC) advertising program in the online world.

Google AdWords and the Google AdSense advertisement updates are important factors in the success of any ad campaign.

If you are in the process of starting an ad campaign, there are some important things that you should know about the Google AdWords and the Google AdSense advertisements.

As what have been discussed above, Google AdWords remains to be the most effective PPC advertising program in the online world.

The Google AdWords and the Google AdSense advertisements received few changes when compared to other PPC ad programs like Google AdWords and Google AdSense.

What are the Google AdWords and the Google AdSense changes? Basically, there are two major changes made when it comes to Google AdWords and Google AdSense.

The two major changes that are included in the Google AdWords and the Google AdSense advertisements are the following.

To help improve the Google AdWords and the Google AdSense programs, the Google AdWords program introduced a new keyword density option.

The keyword density option basically allows the webmasters to choose the percentage of keywords contained in the AdWords ads that a particular webpage should contain.

This can help webmasters increase their click-through rates (CTR).

With a high CTR, a webmaster will be able to increase his or her conversion rate and therefore, his or her income.

However, the Google AdWords and the Google AdSense algorithm updates changed the keyword density options.

Prior to the update, the AdWords program allowed webmasters to choose a keyword density of one percent.

With this option, many webmasters could increase their CTR by including too many keywords in their ads, and thus, their CTR would be multiplied.

But with the Google AdWords and the Google AdSense algorithm updates, the maximum percentage of keywords in an ad is now set at one percent only.

In addition to the keyword density option change, the Google AdWords and the Google AdSense algorithm updates also introduced a new advertising format called the sponsored links feature.

With the use of sponsored links feature, advertisers can create contextual ads that are very similar to the standard Google AdSense ads.

However, these ads will not appear on the first page of the Google results; they will appear only after the third and fourth pages.

Thus, when webmasters create these ads, they can control the position of these ads by changing the keywords of the ads as well as the number of times the ads appear in the Google results.

This change enables them to choose the best placements for their ads. Moreover, with the new Google AdWords and the Google AdSense algorithm update, advertisers’ ads do not display the text or graphic advertisement labels any more.

They will only display the sponsored links label.

Thus, when a webmaster generates the advertisements, he will no longer have to use the text or graphic advertisements which are displayed on the top of the Google results page.

He will only have to use the labels of the links which will appear on the right-hand side of the Google search engine results page.

With the increase of traffic on Google, advertisers are now able to increase their CTR (click-through rate) by targeting specific keywords.

And this algorithm has clearly improved the AdWords ads effectiveness and has increased the webmasters’ ROI (return on investment).

The above said changes in Google AdWords and the Google AdSense also update were done to improve the quality of Google’s online advertising platform and to give a boost to the websites by increasing their ranking on the Google search engine results page.

And the result of this step is visible to the website owners. They will now be able to attract more traffic and convert them into customers.

And this is exactly what every online business owner wants.

To increase traffic, to increase conversion, and to make more money, webmasters now have the tools to do it.
