Why go to Lumea SEO PPC?

I organize Lumea SEO PPC with Ionuț MUNTEANU since January 2010, as a continuation of the series of events:

Why should you come to Lumea SEO PPC, if you’re in Bucharest and you are interested in SEO and/or PPC?
  • To meet the participants, speakers & organizers (see the lists for 2010 & 2011);
  • To find out new things (you can also get some information online, via the follow-ups of the events, which have, for most of their parts, both videos & PowerPoint presentations);
  • To get some creative flow (some speakers may inspire you to get something new going on);
  • To be inspired by the people who take part to the event;
  • To find a job in Internet Marketing;
  • To find someone who can do jobs related to Internet Marketing for you;
If you’d like to know about future events, you can follow us online.

P.S.: … and a blog post in Romanian about other events to take part to:

What I will not promote

Hi,

I’ve been doing Internet marketing, in general, and SEO, in particular, since 2007.

What I don’t intend to promote?

  • Something that does a bad thing to one particular person, according to my set of values (e.g. pornography, erotic massage, online video chat);
  • Something that does a bad thing to the society, according to my view on the world (e.g. drugs – even if they’re considered legal -, religion, tobacco).

Of course, I don’t intend to promote illegal things, so these are out of the question; but in the above list there are examples which may be legal, but, in my view, immoral; so I will try not to do them.

Ionuț MUNTEANU – my recommendation for Google AdWords

I do mostly Search Engine Optimization, site audits and WordPress websites / blogs implementation. I can do other activities, like copywriting or social media presence, but they’re not my specialty.

On the other hand, I don’t do Pay-Per-Click Advertising (like Google AdWords). For the persons who want to do PPC ads, I recommend: Ionuț MUNTEANU

I wrote this recommendation for him on LinkedIn, which I still stand for:

I’ve worked with Ionuț MUNTEANU on various occasions – I was a client of his, he was a client of mine. The recommendation I want to make you comes from a different perspective – Ionuț MUNTEANU and me both worked for a project to make the world of Search Engine Marketing in Romania a better one. The project is called Lumea SEO PPC. I will give you top 5 reasons for which I appreciate Ionuț MUNTEANU’s involvement so much: 1. he put a lot of passion in his work, he was always energetic; 2. he helped me with organizing the event, from promoting the event, to hosting the web site, to organizing some meetings all by himself, to gathering participants, to bring a laptop and camera when needed; 3. most of the meetings we’ve had could be separated into – “Meeting at which he took part, and meetings at which he didn’t participate”. He was that good in making a good atmosphere; 4. he was very useful in getting great speakers at the event; 5. the graphics, logos, theme choosing, are all his part – he did a great job with design. All in all, I couldn’t have done it without him. A big THANK YOU to him. See more on the project (in Romanian) here: http://lumeaseoppc.ro/

You can read more about Ionuț on his blog - http://www.imunteanu.com/ – and contact him directly.

About my collaboration with WP Zoom

On september 16th and 17th, I went to WordCamp Romania (read all about it). There were even some contests at that event, with (ta-da!) prizes. Lucky for me, I took part at those contests and won a free theme for my blog provided by WP Zoom. +Continue Reading

One year in SEO

I’m two days away from making a full year working as a Search Engine Optimization specialist at Webvertise. Prior to that, I worked as an Internet marketer (a job which included SEO tasks) at Cratima. And making a full year of experience as SEO made me wonder, starting from a quote by Marius Deak:

If after one year on the Internet you’re an “Internet addict”, after two years “internet specialist”, 3 to 4 makes you “consultant”, six years is “internet guru”, what’s me after 15 years?

And I think he’s right: one year in an Internet field makes you an “Internet addict”. SEO is a new industry, and having one year of experience is a good thing.

Bottom line: one year in the Internet field makes up a few more years in other fields (so you can develop yourself better after one year in SEO than as more years in other fields).

Two blog posts about jokes on SEO

From time to time I’ll post in here some things other than SEO. I now want to share these two blog posts of SEO jokes, the only jokes on SEO I’ve read:
1.  Old SEOs don’t joke – they just make you laugh;
2. More SEO Jokes Than You Can Link To!

Both links are one of my favorite SEO blogs: SEO Theory – SEO Theory and Analysis Blog.

Have fun, everybody!

Joining the SEO dream: a lust for a better world

My dear readers, I made this blog with one intent only: to help you find some good insights in the world of SEO. It’s that simple. Today I’ll make the first steps into a lovely online adventure (if such a think really exists).

What? Sure, I’ll get some promotion out of this, I may be occasionally speak about my projects, and life, and stuff other than SEO. But mainly it’s all about SEO. If you wish to read more about other aspects in my life, see my other blog in English: Get a result now! (as you can see, I have a fetish for “Get” word).tongue

Why? I start this project after two months of thinking: What should I blog about? This week I found two great ideas for blog posts, and hopefully this is the beginning of a beautiful journey.

How? You can read more about the project in the “About” page. I hope I’ll write good enough for you to be interested in reading the blog via RSS or email.

Interact? Your comments will always be welcomed.

Reward? Thanks for everything. I’ll hope I can reward you with good SEO ideas.
