How to create meta descriptions? Case study: Premier Service – residential areas right from the developer

I’ll talk in this blog post about Premier Service’s web site: Ansambluri rezidentiale direct de la dezvoltator. Comision 0% la apartamente noi.

Let’s have a look at the meta descriptions:

  • Homepage: <meta content=”Ansambluri rezidentiale in Zona de Sud. Direct de la dezvoltator. Comision 0% la apartamente noi. Premier – Compania imobiliara a Zonei de Sud” name=”description” />

What’s good about the descriptions?

  • Some of them use the brand: “Premier Sud”. I’d use it in every description.
  • They are not too long (149).
  • Some of the descriptions have an invitation to click (click or click here).
  • The descriptions follow their name and are quite good at describing things.
  • The title of the page is sometimes repeated in the description box.
What can be further improved?
  • Some of the descriptions are shorter than 100 characters, with spaces (69 characters for the second one), which is too short.
  • I wouldn’t create a meta description with an empty line in it. Make it a continuous text. Sure, spiders can usually read this, but why risk?
  • The automated descriptions can include information about the property, like price, basic description (number of rooms, basic apartment endowments).
  • For the automated descriptions, I’d avoid cutting the sentence right on its middle.
  • The text of the descriptions can be made better. One can surely improve on its readability.
  • The punctuation in the text is not 100% accurate. I’d make better (grammar-wise) descriptions.
